FAQs

1. What services do you offer?

I offer a range of interior design services to suit different stages of your project — from one-off consultations and design advice to full-service design and project management. Whether you’re refreshing a single room or planning a full renovation, I tailor my approach to fit your needs, lifestyle and budget.

2. How does your design process work?

My work follows a four-phase approach — Discover, Define, Develop and Deliver.
We begin by exploring your goals and how you live, before defining a clear vision for your space. From there, I develop detailed designs, drawings and specifications, and can manage the delivery process — coordinating trades and overseeing every last detail.

3. Do you take on smaller projects?

Yes, absolutely. I regularly work on single-room projects, kitchen redesigns or home refreshes. These can be delivered as standalone design packages or through day-rate consultancy sessions for advice and guidance at key points in your project.

4. How do you charge for your services?

My services are charged either on a fixed-fee or day-rate basis, depending on the size and scope of the project.
I’ll always provide a clear, tailored proposal before any work begins — outlining deliverables, estimated timings and payment schedules — so you know exactly what to expect.

5. What’s your typical project budget?

As a guide:

  • Single-room design projects typically start from around £4,000 (design-only).

  • Full-service design and management projects usually start from around £20,000, depending on size and level of finish.

  • Consultancy sessions are available on a day-rate basis, ideal if you’d like expert input without committing to a full design service.

6. How long does the design process take?

Most design projects take 6–10 weeks, depending on the complexity of the project. If I’m managing your renovation, I’ll provide a detailed timeline and oversee every stage to keep things running smoothly.

7. Do you work with your own contractors or ours?

I have a trusted network of skilled builders, decorators and tradespeople I collaborate with regularly. However, I’m equally happy to work with your preferred team if you already have one in place.

8. Can you help with sourcing furniture and finishes?

Yes — sourcing is an integral part of my service. I can recommend, specify and purchase furnishings, fixtures, lighting and finishes, often accessing trade-only suppliers to help bring your vision to life.

9. Do you pass on trade discounts?

Where possible, I pass on my trade savings directly to clients, or use them to offset management fees. I’ll always be transparent about how these savings are applied in your proposal.

10. What’s the best way to get started?

The first step is a free 30-minute discovery call to discuss your project, budget and design goals. From there, I’ll prepare a tailored proposal outlining how I can best support you.

11. What areas do you cover?

I’m based in North London and typically work with clients within a five-mile radius, including areas such as Muswell Hill, Crouch End, Cockfosters, Highgate, Finchley, and surrounding neighbourhoods. For clients further afield, I also offer remote design services, providing the same level of creativity and collaboration online.

12. What if I only need occasional advice?

You don’t need to commit to a full project to work with me. I offer flexible day-rate consultancy, where you can use my time in shorter sessions across the life of your project — ideal if you’d like expert input at key decision points.
