Why choose Debs Bespoke Interiors?
Hello, I'm Debs, the visionary designer behind Debs Bespoke Interiors. Design is more than a profession - it’s a family legacy. Inspired by my heritage, including my grandfather’s founding of Nathan Furniture in 1916, one of the best Mid Century Furniture companies, I blend tradition and innovation in every project.
With a degree in Industrial Design and 20+ years of experience, I bring expertise in interior design, home renovation, and space planning. I’ve led complex projects, managed teams, and honed my craft through both formal and hands-on learning. My portfolio spans kitchens, bathrooms, built-in furniture, and conversions, each reflecting my passion for thoughtful, stylish design.
From curating colour palettes to optimising layouts, I ensure every space is both functional and beautiful. Based in Palmers Green, I work with homeowners across North and Central London, while also offering remote interior design services throughout the UK.
Interior Design in North London
I pride myself on a truly collaborative approach. That means my speciality is helping local residents with their renovation projects. The most successful renovation projects begin long before the builders arrive. Through careful planning, space design, technical coordination and project management, I help homeowners avoid costly mistakes while creating homes that are both beautiful and practical.
I believe in design being shaped by the person who will be living in the house. So while I have over 20 years in design and can practically plan a space and help to reach a dream vision, it is your space at the end of the day, so it must be a representation of you and your choices.
Areas covered:
Based in Palmers Green, I regularly work with homeowners throughout North London, including Winchmore Hill, Southgate, Highgate, Hampstead, Finchley, Barnet, Crouch End, Bounds Green, Alexandra Palace, Cockfosters, Hadley Wood and surrounding areas.
My design process
My process consists of 4 simple steps:
Discover: Understand aspirations and desired outcomes of the project as well as your needs and requirements
Define: Articulate a vision with guiding principles that underpin each and every decision
Develop: Design and plan your space/s ensuring alignment with the vision and requirements
Deliver: Manage and see renovations through to completion calling on expert trades and bespoke sourcing

Working with Debbie has been an exceptional experience. I literally don't have a creative bone in my body but I know how we would use our new kitchen/living/dining space and what I wanted it to feel like. Debbie's collaborative approach and design methods helped me picture a vision that blended functionality with aesthetics, facilitating choices I never would have thought of on my own.

We have just had our downstairs completely transformed thanks to the superb work of Debs Bespoke Interiors. From the very beginning, Debs’ process, ideas, and experience were invaluable, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. Debs not only designed our entire extension - coordinating structural engineers, planning permission, and the building teams - but also managed the project all the way through to the finishing touches, including hanging pictures and curtains. The attention to detail and level of care throughout the process were exceptional.

Our whole downstairs has been transformed through Deb‘s efforts along with the contractors that she received quotes from and which also provided extremely excellent work and delivery. I cannot recommend Deb more highly to all my friends and family, she is incredible, and willing to do what it takes to do the job right. We will be using her again on our next project no doubt, and we are grateful for her help.

As a guide:
Single-room design projects typically start from around £4,000 (design-only).
Full-service design and management projects usually start from around £20,000, depending on size and level of finish.
Consultancy sessions are available on a day-rate basis, ideal if you’d like expert input without committing to a full design service.

Typically it is best to engage an interior designer at the very start of your renovation to help engage the relevant trades and establish a detailed budget estimate. Interior designers often have all of the contacts you’ll need and know what to do and when.
Additionally, if you leave the interiors until planning permission and architecture is fixed, you may miss out on key internal design optimisation that requires an architectural change (for example roof pitch height / window positioning), or an electrical change (the pendant can’t hang over the dining table)

Yes by all means. I have key trades I work with regularly including structural engineers, architects, builders, glaziers, electricians, plumbers, asbestos removals, kitchen suppliers, joiners, carpenters….
I pride myself in holding relationships with trustworthy trades people. -
Yes - I can support you in whichever way you feel most relevant. From being a ‘designer in your pocket’ to call on as needed, to full project management and procurement coordination taking everything off your shoulders. You decide!
