How to Prepare for Your Consultation
The better you prepare, the more focused and effective we can be in your consultation. Here is what we would advise:
Share as much as you can when booking, be it photos, a video walk-through, existing plans, samples, floorplans and so on
Think about what you need the most advice on and let us know. For example, what do you want to come away having guidance on?
List out your priorities for the consultation in order so that we can address these in turn
What Happens After Your Consultation
We will follow up by email with a capture of the advice and discussions we had during the consultation so that you don’t have to note everything down at the time.
This might include:
Paint colours
A rough spatial plan
Recommendations on items and ideas for where to shop
Any other discussion points captured
Recommendations for next steps
What Our Clients Say
“We were looking to sell our flat and it was in desperate need of some love… Debs provided everything we needed from online mood boards, ideas, cost effective solutions, and budget planning. She was responsive, trustworthy, and straight-talking.
We had regular online meetings (we were not in the same city), frequent communication via email and whatsapp, and we always felt she was on top of the project. She always went the extra mile, and completed the project within 5 weeks!
We highly recommend Debs Bespoke Interiors..”
— Fliss, Two-bedroom flat flip“Debbie has supported our community magazine continuously over the years and always provides amazing articles enjoyed by the entire community. I would absolutely recommend her services.”
— Ellie-Anne, Anthony Webb Estate Agents“Debbie was recommended to us when we moved into our new home and were overwhelmed by the choices for our large living room/dining room/kitchen. She calmly and logically took us through a process whereby we were able to decide on a colour palette and mood for the space. From there decisions have been much easier for us. Invaluable support.”

-
Our consultation service includes preparation time, the consultation itself and follow up with recommendations and capture of what was discussed in the consultation itself
-
We charge a fixed fee of £249 for a 60-minute consultation which includes the prep time and follow up, or £349 for the 90-minute consultation
-
Interior designers charge in different ways: per room, a custom price, hourly or daily, or for large projects a percentage of the total. Room fees can be a few hundred to several thousand pounds, depending on the designer’s experience, the work involved and what you’ll receive.
Our pricing is fair. The first three phases - Discover, Define and Develop - are a fixed fee plus any expenses for the full design package. For the Deliver phase, which is harder to predict, we use a day rate with an estimated number of days based on the scope once the designs are complete.
-
The consultation itself is chosen by you - either at 60 or 90 minutes. This choice depends entirely on the complexity and needs of your request. You may also want to allow enough time beforehand to provide all of the necessary inputs to make the consultation a success
-
Yes by all means.
A consultation works best when we have time to focus on a single space, so this would be ideal
